Greg “Pappy” Martindale, 72, of Mt. Airy, MD, passed away on April 12, 2026. Born February 6, 1954, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Brenda Kay Martindale. Greg was a Master Electrician and self-employed throughout much of his career. He honorably served in the United States Army as a Lineman from 1971 to 1975, achieving the rank of Sergeant, and later served in the Army Reserves until 1977. He is survived by his son Jason Martindale and wife Melanie, and his cherished granddaughters Megan Ashley and Jessie Adellia. Greg will be remembered for his service, skill, and devotion to family.
