James Andrew “Jim” Gelwicks, 69, of Fairfield, Pennsylvania, passed away Oct. 4, 2026, at WellSpan Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Born Aug. 9, 1957, he was the son of the late Earle Robert and Donaldine Elizabeth (Hann) Gelwicks. He shared 45 years of marriage with his wife, Teresa. Jim owned construction companies and took pride in building with his hands. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, cooking and farm life. In addition to his wife, he is survived by six daughters, a sister, a brother, 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
