Kathy Anne Rockwell, 71, of Waynesboro, Virginia, passed away Oct. 1, 2026, in Fisherville, Virginia. Born Dec. 14, 1954, in Staunton, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Daniel W. Walter and Janet Katherine Frend (Trainum). She is survived by four siblings, stepsons Vance and Keith Rockwell, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Layton Rockwell; brother Daniel W. Frend Jr.; and stepson Todd L. Rockwell. The family extends special thanks to Christina Moore and Laura Baker for their support during her final month in the hospital.
