Sue Emma Harman Green passed away peacefully on August 21, 2026, at Westminster Healthcare Center. A Cumberland native and 1953 Allegany High School graduate, she earned her nursing degree from the University of Maryland, where she met her husband, Dr. Karl Mathias Green. A devoted Presbyterian, Sue served in numerous roles at First United Presbyterian Church of Westminster and shared her beautiful soprano voice through church music and Sweet Adelines International. She cherished her children, grandchildren, friends, music, reading, travel, art and nature. Sue is survived by her children, Laura and Michael, and six grandchildren, Samuel, Grace, Erin, Tristan, Kyle and Caitlin.
