William Carl Howell, 60, of Sykesville, passed away peacefully on the evening of May 9, 2026, surrounded by family. Born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Waldorf, he was the son of William E. Howell and Barbara Howell. William was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose greatest joy was his family. He shared a lifelong bond with his wife Maria and lovingly embraced her children, Laura and David, as his own. He was a natural caregiver who loved cooking, sports, and quiet moments at the beach. In later years, he especially cherished time with his grandsons, Marshall Harbin and William Thornton, who were the center of his world.
