Leslie Allan “Les” Douglas, 71, of New Windsor, passed away suddenly on April 22, 2026, at Carroll Hospital Center after a brief illness. Beloved husband of Lori Kay Douglas for 34 years, he was a devoted father, brother, and cherished family man. Les earned degrees from the University of Maryland and University of Baltimore, building a distinguished career in music education and school transportation leadership. He directed bands at several local high schools, served as president of the Maryland Band Directors Association, and later led transportation departments in Howard and Anne Arundel counties. A man of faith, music, and style, Les loved history, family, and community service.
