Wolfgang Klaiber passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026, at the age of 90, surrounded by family and loved ones. Born in Weinheim, Germany, he overcame the hardships of wartime childhood and immigrated to the United States at age 15 in pursuit of education and opportunity. He earned degrees from Brown University and built a distinguished career in international relations, government, and defense. Wolfgang was also a devoted member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 40 years, helping many through recovery. A gifted pianist, loving father, grandfather, and friend, he will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, faith, and generous spirit.
